Bradford Powell currently serves as president of the Command, Control, Intelligence, and Encryption (C2I&E) business unit with Ultra Intelligence & Communications. In this strategic role, he oversees the planning and execution of strategies that broaden the impact of the ADSI® suite of C2 solutions, enhancing remote encryption rekey capabilities for tactical data link systems, and deploying advanced solutions for coastal surveillance and critical infrastructure protection across the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Indo-Pacific.
Before joining Ultra I&C, Bradford held the role of vice president and general manager for Cubic Digital Intelligence. In this capacity, he orchestrated the integration and strategic alignment of multiple independently acquired firms into a cohesive, high-performing division. This roll-up strategy was pivotal in enhancing the division’s capabilities in Full Motion Video (FMV), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) programs, significantly contributing to the development and execution of growth strategies across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.
His extensive background includes numerous senior director roles with Northrop Grumman where he was responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of programs. He also spent three years in Saudi Arabia leading a Northrop Grumman and Eirad Holdings joint venture that delivered critical infrastructure protection solutions to key middle eastern customers. Bradford's career commenced in the U.S. Air Force as an acquisition officer, where he served as program manager for a portfolio of tactical data link integration programs. During his time in uniform, he led the initial fielding of Link 16 on the F-15C/D/E fleet and initiated the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program.
Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA
with honors from the University of Chicago, Bradford has firmly established himself as a leading expert in strategic business management within the defense and intelligence sectors.
