Brig. Gen. Gregory Gagnon

Brig. Gen. Gagnon is the Director of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Headquarters U.S. Space Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. In this capacity, he serves as the Senior Intelligence Advisor to the Chief of Space Operations and is responsible to the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Space Operations for policy formulation, planning, evaluation, oversight and leadership of Space Force intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Director of Intelligence, United States Space Command, Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado.
Brig. Gen. Gagnon was commissioned through ROTC from Saint Michael’s College in Winooski, Vermont. He is a career Intelligence Officer with an extensive background in cyberspace operations. Brig. Gen. Gagnon has commanded at the squadron, group and joint wing levels with one combat command tour in Afghanistan. He is a fully-qualified Joint Staff Officer. His staff tours include Pacific Air Forces, Air Force Space Command, Air Combat Command, U.S. Strategic Command, and U.S. Space Command. Brig. Gen. Gagnon has deployed on multiple occasions in support of joint air and special operations.
