Chris Bishop is Chief Growth Officer of Ultra Intelligence & Communications. He has over 30 years of experience leading high-performance growth and strategy teams across Defense, Intelligence, and Federal Civilian customer markets. Chris leverages a valuable mix of business acumen, deep industry knowledge, and technical expertise to drive innovative solutions to customers’ most complex national security challenges. He has deep knowledge in key areas of C5ISR, cybersecurity, mission support & sustainment, strategic capabilities engineering, and threat mitigation and mission assurance.
Chris’ strategic priority is driven by the new and evolving global threat environment and the need to accelerate capability development and technology integration. He is focused on building collaborative networks internally and externally to the company including non-traditional, commercial, academic, and early-stage ventures to provide novel approaches to solving critical problems. Chris works across industry to integrate expert mission knowledge, intelligence analysis, and leading-edge technologies into seamless solutions for our customers.
Chris has broad industry experience across the public and private technology sectors, including both strategic growth and P&L management. He served as Chief Growth Officer in Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technology Division (formerly Alion Science & Technology). He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Growth and Strategy Officer for ManTech International’s Mission Solutions and Services Group, as well as other similar executive positions with URS Corporation (now Amentum), NCI Information Systems (now Empower AI), and SRA International.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia, as well as Master of Business Administration and Certificate in International Business from Marymount University. He has completed management development programs in high-performance leadership at Darden Business School, University of Virginia. Chris is a former Board Member of the Professional Services Council (PSC) and a graduate of the ACT/IAC Partners Program in the American Council for Technology (ACT) and Industry Advisory Council (IAC).
