Colonel Stephen K. “Cajun” Landry is the Director of Innovation and Digital Transformation, Chief Technology and Innovation Office, United States Space Force. In this role, he is charged with unlocking and harnessing innovation to increase speed and improve effectiveness of Space Force mission and
business operations. He is responsible for developing strategy and policy to advance innovation and implement the United States Space Force’s Vision for a Digital Service focus areas of Digital Engineering, Digital Workforce, Digital Headquarters and Digital Operations.
Colonel Landry was commissioned in the United States Air Force through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Program, Detachment 305, Louisiana Tech University in 1991 and cross commissioned to the United States Space Force in June 2021. His previous assignments include the National Security Agency, Headquarters United States Special Operations Command and United States Cyber Command. Colonel Landry has served in leadership positions at the flight, squadron, group and combatant command levels. He deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. Prior to his current assignment, Col Landry served as the Chief, Defensive Network Operations at the National Security Agency where he was responsible for manning, training and employing the National Security Agencies elite cyber defense teams (Red, Blue, and Hunt). Colonel Landry is from south Louisiana where he graduated from Jeanerette Senior High School in 1986. He is married to the former Pricelda “Prissy” Faragoza and they have three children.
