Dan Ford is the CEO for Capgemini Government Solutions with overall responsibility for driving Capgemini commercial innovation and mission outcomes for US Federal clients. Joining Capgemini in
2006, Dan has previously served in leadership roles of increasing responsibility including National
Security Sector Leader, and Head of US Federal Sectors. Dan plays an active role in supporting Capgemini M&A activities in the federal market including the VariQ acquisition in 2021 and Unity’s Government Professional Services arm in 2024.
Mr. Ford holds a Master of Engineering in Logistics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a
Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Davidson College, where he played Division-I college soccer. He is a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also ACTFL certified in advanced Mandarin Chinese.
As an MIT trained systems engineer, Dan is passionate about the role of technology in maintaining the
United States’ position as a global leader. To this end, he volunteers his time with the MIT Club of
Washington DC where he focuses on improving the participation and performance of younger students
in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
