Dave Sterling is the founder and CEO of Royce Geo, an advanced analytics and technology firm focused on the fusion of national and commercial space-based data leveraging software and AI/ML to drive data automation for US National Security issues, rapidly fielding advanced intel product modernization, at mission speed.
Sterling, with over 20 years of geospatial-intelligence expertise, leads operations, strategy, and shapes the corporate vision for Royce Geo. His extensive background as a senior geospatial analyst for NGA (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency) and leadership positions within the geospatial portfolio at KEYW (now Jacobs) has profoundly influenced Royce Geo & mission-oriented, growth and innovative culture. Under Dave& stewardship, the company delivers capabilities through & Analytics as a Service & contracts, emphasizing the delivery of data, technology and services to promote mission solutions and accountability, showcasing adaptability and innovation for the warfighter. As a result of this strategy, Royce Geo received the 2023 Contractor of the Year and Program of the Year from the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, 2023 Contractor of the Year from the Small & Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF, Northern VA) and 2023 Moxie Award Contractor of the Year.
Sterling has a B.S in Geography and Geosciences from Salisbury University and an M.S. in Geography/GIS from Virginia Tech and currently resides in Arlington, VA.
