Mr. David Peña is Chief, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems Enterprise Division and Senior Technical Advisor, ISR Directorate, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.
Mr. Peña hails from Chicago, Illinois via Brooklyn, New York. He served on active duty in the US Air Force from 1988 until 2009. Upon retirement from active duty in June 2009, he entered federal service with the Department of the Air Force at PACAF/A2.
Mr. Peña is a senior manager with extensive experience in Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) field. He has held numerous positions leading the planning, staffing, budgeting, technology, and cyber and information operations of United States Air Force (USAF) and Joint military organizations at various command levels. He is an expert in cross-functional team building and leadership, change management, organization development, and quality performance improvement. He is responsible for the Pacific Enterprise Service Center, one of three regional operations centers across the globe providing DoD Intelligence Information Systems and Air Force Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems data, voice, and video to USAF and other joint organizations at all Pacific air bases. Mr. Peña is the subject matter expert in maintaining critical ISR infrastructure to enhance our national security posture ensuring TS/SCI comms are distributed across the most geographically theater in the world.
Mr. Peña and his wife, Sopha, have four adult children; Courtney, David Jr., Serina and Jackson and four grandchildren: Isabella, Adelina, Mason, and Michael.
