Dr. Betsy Weatherhead is a climate scientist who has worked in the public, private and academic sectors addressing practical implications of climate change. She specializes in quantitative risk assessment for climate impacts, in emerging observation techniques and in practical responses to climate change. She has worked on a broad range of climate observations nationally and internationally and chairs AGU sessions on renewable energy. She is an AMS Fellow; currently works with ECMWF's Copernicus Climate Service in their development of temperature, humidity and ozone datasets and sits on NOAA's Science Advisory Board.
