Mr. Fowad Muneer is a Program Manager with the US. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Electricity Delivery & Energy Reliability (OE). He leads cybersecurity and risk management programs of the Infrastructure Security & Energy Restoration (ISER) Division. Mr. Muneer has over 13 years of technical, management, and leadership experience in Energy, Financial Services, Chemical, IT, and Telecom sectors. He has led strategy, policy, assessment, and compliance projects at numerous government and private sector critical infrastructure organizations. In 2012, he was recognized by the DOE for his dedication to national cybersecurity initiatives. He has conducted numerous federal government security reviews of high risk facilities; served as an Information Systems Security Officer for federal systems, and as a technology risk manager for a Fortune 50 organization. He is also a contributing author of a number of publications on security best practices.
