In his role as a Solutions Consultant for HDS Federal, Gary Hix leverages over a decade of public sector experience to serve as a trusted advisor for federal civilian, defense and intelligence agencies. Gary joined HDS Federal in 2013 and lends his wealth of experience in architecting, implementing and maintaining custom technology solutions to address public sector information technology challenges.

Prior to joining HDS Federal, Gary was a Program Architect with IBM’s Cloud Services Division where he was responsible for a $500 million cross brand sales strategy and leading engineers in the development of global solutions. Prior to IBM, Gary served as the Channel Technology Executive for the Novus Consulting Group, acquired by IBM in 2008. Gary’s experience in architecting and deploying enterprise storage and backup solutions spreads across numerous Fortune 50 companies.

Gary invests his time and commitment to leveraging technology and addressing key challenges by serving as a member of industry groups such as AFCEA. He holds nearly a dozen industry certifications and has regularly been published in trade publications.
