Gerard A. Fasano currently serves as President of the Defense Group at Leidos, where he is responsible for leading the delivery of advanced systems, solutions, and services to Defense customers worldwide. He leads over 10,000 employees dedicated to solving critical challenges in autonomy, advanced analytics, C4ISR, digital modernization, enterprise logistics, and secure agile software development.
Prior to this role, Fasano served as Executive Vice President and Chief of Business Development and Strategy for Leidos where he oversaw efforts to drive business growth, account management, legislative affairs, and strategy. He previously served as the Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Solutions (IS&GS) head of integration for the merger of Leidos and the IS&GS business, combining the two entities to produce a technology and solutions company with more than $10 billion in annual revenue. Prior to joining Leidos, Fasano led Lockheed Martin's IS&GS Business Development and Mergers & Acquisition organization and was General Manager for their $3.5B Defense Group.
Fasano holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University. He has received numerous awards of excellence including the WashingtonExec Pinnacle Award for DoD Industry Executive of the Year, the Federal Computer Week (FCW) Fed 100 Award, the Executive Mosaic Wash100 Award, the Villanova University Carl T. Humphrey Alumni Award, and the USO Liberty Award. Fasano has served on numerous boards, to include the Villanova University Engineering Advisory Board, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, AFCEA, the Liberty USO, and Junior Achievement. Fasano also serves as the Executive Sponsor for Leidos’ Women’s Network as part of the company’s Employee Resource Groups.
