Colonel Gregory Coile is the Project Manager (PM) for Tactical Network, assigned to the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T). He provides the direction, management and leadership for the Army’s current and future tactical communications network, which enables mission command and secure reliable voice, video and data communications to Soldiers worldwide. He manages an annual budget of over a billion dollars to provide critical network communications capabilities to the Army, Department of Defense and other government organizations.

COL Coile’s acquisition assignments include Combat Developer, Contingency Contracting Officer 1st Brigade Combat Team; 101st Airborne (Air Assault), and Assistant Product Manager for Tactical Battle Command; Executive Officer to the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications-Tactical; and Product Manager for Satellite Communications assigned to PM Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T).

Originally commissioned in 1992 as an Armor Officer, COL Coile has various tactical experiences including Scout Platoon Leader, Troop Executive Officer, Squadron Maintenance Officer, and culminated as Company Commander in Task Force Falcon, Operation Joint Guardian II, Kosovo.

COL Coile graduated from Liberty University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Government. He also holds a Master of Science in Program Management from Florida Institute of Technology. His military education includes the Officer Basic and Advance Courses, Command & General Staff College, and US Army War College. He deployed in support of Operation Joint Guardian, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve.

COL Coile’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NATO Medal, Ranger Tab, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Combat Action Badge
