With 27 years of public and private sector experience, Gurvais C. Grigg is a recognized technology leader with proven abilities managing complex organizations, investigations, and leading technical programs. In February 2021, Grigg joined Chainalysis as the Global Public Sector Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for connecting global governments with the cryptocurrency industry to create a more reliable, fair, and open market for the world to transact.

Grigg joined the FBI as a Special Agent in 1997 and later as a senior executive. Managing budgets of hundreds of millions of dollars, Grigg has held positions of trust and led teams to consult, advise, and deliver innovative solutions. Pioneering initiatives such as data exploitation and sharing initiatives, he has been on the forefront of using data as a means to conduct investigations and bring criminals to justice.

Grigg has received prestigious accolades including the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association’s Investigation of the Year, the FBI Director’s Award for Outstanding Information Management, the FBI’s Manual J. Gonzales Ethics Award, and the Presidential Rank Award (Meritorious).
