For over 20 years, Heath has been leading change and driving innovation by advancing digital services and accelerating time to value for his clients.
Heath is a transformational expert, having led large-scale programs and change management initiatives across more than 20 different federal agencies, and Fortune 500 companies. His successes include executing some of government’s largest and most visible transformation efforts including the integration of 26 agencies to form the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and citizen facing technology programs such as Farmers.gov and My HealtheVet.
For the last 5 years he has been leading SAICs transformation efforts including corporate R&D, strategic alliances, industry analyst relations, operations policy and process, Venture Capital Investing, and served as the General Manager of SAICs commercial segment, and wholly owned subsidiaries driving adoption of dual use technology into the Federal ecosystem.
In 2016, he won SAICs Program Manager of the year, and received the CEO’s Ingenuity Award, the company’s highest honor, awarded annually in recognition of the employee who most embodies the corporate values of Creativity, Empowerment, Integrity, and Mission Understanding.
Prior to joining SAIC Heath directed a portfolio of organizational design and innovation contracts for General Dynamics IT. He started his career as a federal employee working as the Special Assistant to the Undersecretary for Management at DHS.
Heath is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, a Kellogg Executive Scholar, and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Bachelor’s Degree from Kansas State University. He lives in Overland Park, Kansas with his wife Kristin, and their two children Knox (12), and Kate (9). They are actively engaged in military and food charities, their church, and youth athletics.
