Howard Porter is Senior Vice President of CACI’s Contracts Division. In this role, Mr. Porter utilizes his expertise in the government contracting industry to help shape, develop, and implement strategies for pursuing and winning government business.
Mr. Porter leads a contracts organization responsible for full contract life cycle support in CACI’s core business areas and providing advanced solutions to government customers, including streamlining federal processes and addressing the full spectrum of requirements in the financial, procurement, human resources, supply chain, and asset management domains. Mr. Porter engages as a business partner and as a leader, advocates the inclusion of contracts as a strategic component to help CACI win new business and achieve operational excellence for customers.
With more than 19 years of contract management experience at CACI, Mr. Porter’s insights and expertise are looked to both from within the company and from professionals across the government contracting industry on topics related to government contracts, procurement, acquisitions, and the state of the industry.
Mr. Porter practiced law for 10 years prior to joining CACI. Prior to attending law school, he worked for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine and Intelligence and Security Commands.
Mr. Porter holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Kansas and a J.D. from George Mason University. Mr. Porter also participates in the Coalition for Government Procurement and National Contract Management Association.
