James Chappelear is a retired Air Force Colonel with 25 years of active military service. He is currently Director of Space Intelligence and Senior Program Manager for The Buffalo Group’s Intelligence Support Contract for United States Space Command Directorate of Intelligence. James has served in a myriad of positions during his time in uniform to include Chief of Staff, Intelligence Directorate at NORAD and USNORTHCOM, Deputy Director for Mission Support, Chief of Targeting, Director of Intelligence and Squadron Commander. He has had many experiences throughout his career leading people and teams, providing expertise in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Targeting, and intelligence support to Special Operations. James has had countless interactions with senior Department of Defense officials at many stages of his career and takes great pride in his interpersonal, management, and communication skills. His latest interest lies in marketing his abilities in Senior Program Management, Business Development, Sales and Human Resource Management. James is extremely excited about his work for The Buffalo Group as a wholly owned subsidiary of Jacobs and anticipates additional growth opportunities with this impressive company.
James is married and has three adult children. He enjoys spending time with his four rescue dogs and exercising in beautiful Colorado Springs.
