James Doswell serves as the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Operations (AI/MLOps) Branch Chief under the Data and AI Tools and Services Division within the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). In this role, James is responsible for developing robust and flexible capabilities that enable practitioners across various domains to operationalize AI and ML models. James works closely with other efforts within CDAO, such as Task Force Lima, AI Scaffolding, and the Responsible AI effort.
James has been a part of the Advana platform for the past four years and has held various roles as the platform has undergone multiple migrations. During his time on Advana, James has been the voice of AI and ML practitioners by prioritizing easy access to scalable compute resources, open-source libraries, and version control to facilitate model development.
