Jeff Brown is director and general manager of the Intelligence Systems Group for Electronic and Information Solutions (E&IS), a division of Boeing Network and Space Systems (BN&SS). In this role, he oversees the development and integration of systems that provide innovative technical solutions and advanced capabilities for more effective intelligence planning and analysis. Brown also serves as the President and Chairmen of Ventura Solutions, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company.
Prior to this assignment, Brown was director of Business Development and Strategy for E&IS, where he led the business development team in executing its customer-focused growth strategy with a focus on sales, marketing, strategy and investment allocations for the E&IS division. Brown previously served as director of Business Development and Strategy for the Information Solutions division, prior to its merger with Electronic and Mission Systems in 2012.
Before joining Information Solutions, Brown served as director of Business Development and Director of National Intelligence and Cyber Solutions for Argon ST, a wholly owned subsidiary acquired by Boeing in 2010. Brown led the National Intelligence and Cyber Solutions group which provided advanced signals intelligence (SIGINT) and cyber solutions for the U.S. Intelligence Community, the U.S. Department of Defense and key foreign partners. He also held regional responsibility for Argon’s strategic development in the Asia Pacific region.
Brown joined Argon in 2004, following 30 years as a career cryptologic officer in the U.S. Navy where he provided technical leadership in the areas of signals intelligence and information warfare. He commanded the Naval Security Group Activity, San Diego, California and served as the Director of Cryptology and Information Warfare on the Staff of Commander, U.S. Third Fleet. Brown also served as the J6, Kunia Regional SIGINT Operations Center, Hawaii; and as the Assistant Chief of Staff, Manpower, Education and Training, on staff of the Commander, Naval Security Group Command. Brown also served in a variety of sea and shore assignments in Japan, Okinawa, Hawaii, San Diego, Maine and Washington, D.C.
Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies from the University of the State of New York Regents College. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) and is active in the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).
