Deputy Chief Information Officer

National Security Agency (NSA)

Ms. Jennifer Kron was named the Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the National Security Agency (NSA) in April 2022. Prior to joining NSA, Ms. Kron served for 16 years at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where her roles included National Intelligence Manager for South Asia, Acting CIO of the Intelligence Community (IC), and most recently Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the IC. She also served for eight years at the Office of Management and Budget and three years on a Joint Duty Assignment to Canberra, Australia. Ms. Kron graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude from Princeton
University and holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Kron was promoted to the Senior National Intelligence Service in March 2007. She is a recipient of the Presidential Rank Award (Meritorious) and the National Intelligence Superior Service Medal.
