John Garrett, senior director of federal civilian agencies for Dell Technologies Federal, is responsible for the full portfolio of enterprise systems, software, services, and client solutions. John leads a team focused on providing government customers with the mission-critical IT solutions they need. He has served on the Spacecom Advisory Board for many years. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the National Border Patrol Foundation. John and his team are active participants of the Homeland Security and Defense Forum, AFCEA Bethesda, VETSports, USCC Cyber Camps, and NIH’s Children’s Inn,

John is an accomplished federal business leader and strategist with 18 years of federal experience. He has served as an account executive and regional sales manager for Dell and Dell EMC. Prior to joining the company, John worked in public relations for the American Red Cross.

He is active in his community and works with charities including K9 for Warriors, Birdies for the Brave, and the USO. John received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas. He is a husband, father of two, outdoorsman, and business mentor who lives with his family in Austin, Texas.
