Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jon M. Stanley reported as the U.S.

CW5 Stanley is a native of Fort Ord, California. He entered the
U.S. Army on May 29, 1997, attended Basic Training at Fort
Jackson, South Carolina, and 31F Network Switching Systems
Operator - Maintainer Advanced Individual Training at Fort
Gordon, Georgia. Upon completion of training he as a member
of 40th Signal Battalion at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona where he completed several deployments to Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Next, he served as a White House Console Controller for the White House Communications Agency, Washington D.C., until his accession as a warrant officer. Following his graduation from Warrant Officer Candidate and Basic course at Ft. Rucker, AL and Ft. Gordon, Ga, respectively, he was assigned to the 122d Signal Battalion, Camp Red Cloud, South Korea as the 2nd Infantry Division G6 primary Network Management Technician. He was then assigned to the 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Ft. Lewis, Washington. While there he deployed to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, in support of CJTF-HOA. Upon redeployment was selected as the HHC Rear Detachment Commander during the unit’s deployment to Iraq. He then served as the OIC of the Network Operations Center for Special Operations Command, Europe, Stuttgart, Germany. He was then assigned to U.S. Army North, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas as the Director, Joint Network Communication Center and then the G2 Intelligence Information Systems OIC. Next, he was selected to attend Training with Industry (TWI) at Intelsat General, Atlanta, Georgia. Upon completion of TWI, CW5 Stanley was assigned to the 21st Signal Brigade, Ft. Detrick, Maryland as the Brigade Senior Warrant Officer. He then returned to South Korea as the 2nd Infantry Division Senior Network Technician and was critical in the relocation of the division headquarters to Camp Humphreys. His last assignment was to the newly activated V Corps as the G6 Senior Technical Advisor.

CW5 Stanley’s military education includes the 255N Network Management Technician Warrant Officer Basic and Advanced Courses; Warrant Officer Intermediate-Level Education and Signal Follow-on Course; Warrant Officer Senior Service Education Course; and the Continuing Education for Senior Leaders Course. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security from University of Maryland University College.

His awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Meritorious Service Medal (three Oak Leaf Cluster), the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the
Army Commendation Medal (one Oak Leaf Cluster), the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Presidential Service Badge.

CW5 Stanley is married to Mary Stanley from Phoenix, Arizona and has 4 children.
