Karen Brazell

Karen Brazell serves as the Vice President for the Department of Veterans Affairs Account at the Science Applications Technology Corporation (SAIC). She is responsible for providing cybersecurity operations,
financial management support, electronic data exchange transactions application suite, program integrity tool, consolidate corporate support services, and enhancements of the budget tracking tool providing DevSecOps.
Ms. Brazell retired from the federal government after 20-years of honorable service in January 2021. Prior to her retirement from federal government service, she served as the Acting Assistant Secretary for the Office of Enterprise Integration and the Chief Acquisition Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Ms. Brazell is a U.S. Army Veteran, she served on active duty from 1984 to 1988.
Ms. Brazell is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with Liberty University and will begin her dissertation in the Spring of 2024, with a research focus of streamlining the federal governments acquisition process.
