Katie Selbe is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cyber Network Solutions (CNS) Group, a business division of Alion Science and Technology. Selbe leads a portfolio of programs and capabilities delivering cross-domain network engineering, cyber hardening and operations; modelling and simulation; live, virtual and constructive training; defensive and offensive cyber operations; big data analysis; cloud architecture; and integrated Artificial Intelligence. Selbe has deep industry knowledge of both cyber and intelligence markets and an outstanding track record of operational excellence, program growth, and strategy. Prior to joining Alion, Selbe was the operating unit director of National Mission Capabilities (NMC). Previously, she served as the operating unit director National Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (NCIS). Both operating units were part of Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions (CIMS) division, part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector. She oversaw all growth and program activities including full spectrum cyber, multi-INT enterprise data management and integration, as well as mission enabling cyber solutions supporting the intelligence community.
Selbe also held the position of the operating unit director of Air Command and Control (C2), in the Command and Control (C2) division, part of the former Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems sector. The C2 division is a leading provider of open and interoperable command and control systems across the air, enterprise logistics, land, maritime, and strategic domains. Selbe earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in system engineering from George Mason University.
