Larry Barisciano is the Senior Vice President and Business Area Manager for Land Systems within Leidos Dynetics. He is responsible for a portfolio of force protection capabilities and supporting technology development services. This operation employs over 1000 team members in support of the U.S. Army and Joint customers.
Previously, Mr. Barisciano was a vice president for the Enterprise IT and Cyber Solutions Operation within the Defense Group of Leidos. He served as Division Manager for the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) Program, a large scale IT Service Delivery IDIQ contract in support of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This global operation employs over 1800 team members across nearly 60 partner companies in the world-wide operations and sustainment of the DoDIN.
Prior to joining the GSM-O (I and II) programs, Mr. Barisciano served in a variety of engineering and program management positions with Lockheed Martin, including Program Manager for the THAAD Canister EMD and Fire Unit Fielding Program, Program Manager for the Non-Line of Sight Launching Systems Program, and Program Operations Lead for Independent Program Reviews for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Systems. He was certified as a Lockheed Martin Program Management Professional. He has 25 years of experience in program management, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, systems test engineering.
Mr. Barisciano has a B.A. in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Drew University and a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the George Washington University Joint Institute for the Advancement of Flight Sciences. He relocated to the Huntsville area in November 2022 as part of assuming his current role within Leidos Dynetics.
