Liz Martin currently leads the global US Department of Defense business at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Previously, Liz led the global US Army, US Air Force, US Space Force, and Combatant Commands business within AWS Worldwide Public Sector, including Federally Funded Research Data Centers (FFRDCs) and University Affiliated Research Centers (URACs).

Prior to joining AWS, Liz served as the Business Unit Executive of International Business Machines (IBM) for software-based cloud solutions for the U.S. Federal government. Also at IBM, Liz was the Business Unit Executive responsible for the IBM Software business for the US Department of Defense, Defense Healthcare, and select U.S. Federal Civilian Agencies.

Liz earned her B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Marketing.
