Mark Cress joined Verizon in August 2016. In this role Marks works with Public Sector customers to identify critical use cases for 5G and assists them in deploying this revolutionary technology. Mark works with a wide array of DOD, Federal Civilian and State and Local customers to explore the huge potential of 5G solutions to transform their operations and achieve lasting improvements. Prior to working on 5G Solutions Mark held the Role of Client
Partner Connected Solutions where he worked with DOD customers on a variety of wireless solutions such as deploying advanced LTE enabled tablets to Air Force maintainers.
Mark has spent his entire 30 year career working on advanced communications systems for government customers. Prior to joining Verizon Mark held a number of sales and sales management roles at Motorola Solutions and Airbus. At those companies he promoted and deployed advanced Land Mobile Radio Communications Solutions for State and Local customers in support of the first responder community.
Mark graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and obtained his Masters of Business Administration at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
