Matt has prided himself on developing strong relationships with government and government focused
entities throughout his 22-year career. He “connects good people for the good of the nation”. People
are what truly makes this country great and allows our Industrial government and defense sectors to
have the best technology and mission capabilities throughout the globe.
Background, Career & Education:
Matt was born and raised on a 250-acre dairy farm is Ashfield, Ma. where at a young age developed a
strong work ethic and the ability to overcome adversity. He proceeded to pursue a Degree in Plant and
Soil Science from the University of Massachusetts (UMASS) to become a Golf Course Superintendent at
a high-profile golf club.
During his experiences at UMASS he found his love for people. After working a few years in the golf
course industry, he decided to pursue his passion more regularly by joining the business development
and account executive ranks. He has had a successful career by creating and managing a network from
his early days as a Young AFCEAN and TEKsystems. Then truly learning the art of Business Development
and Executive Management of federal customers during his time at Lockheed Martin.
He established himself in his role at Deloitte by learning the consulting business and winning and
managing consulting engagements before heading into his 2 nd passion, a technology career with IBM. He
spent 10 years with IBM and Red Hat understanding the AI/ML and Network & Cyber Security worlds
across the federal government.
During his time at IBM, he was exposed to technology innovation and the startup world. He was
afforded the opportunity to go to work with D2IQ, a small Kubernetes start up, where he proceeded to
understand the power of a small innovative businesses and their ability to compete against giants and
making the customers mission capabilities stronger. He learned the power of innovation and how ease
of use was a real differentiator in the US Federal Market.
He is now leading his own team at Xage Security where he is filling gaps in the US Federal cyber security
strategy protecting holes in our Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) and Operational Technology (OT)
capabilities. Xage is the only solution bridging the gap with IT & IIOT/OT down to the edge device level
with a complete protective capability.
Family: He is a father of 3, (Logan (13), Gray (9) & Isabella (9)) and married to Nicole for 17 great years

Hobbies: Golf, Coaching youth sports (Baseball, Flag Football, Softball), Skiing
