Mike Pomatto currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Manpower, Analytics, and Human Resource (HR) Systems Directorate within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Manpower and Reserve Affairs). He brings over 37 years of experience across academia, industry, and government to the role and is a technical expert on the integration and analysis of Human Capital/HR Total Force Information Technology (IT) systems, data, and analytics. As an adjunct professor and skilled leader, Mike is committed to delivering practical insights, shaped by his international consulting experience to promote and instill the importance of building effective and compelling data narratives.

His extensive background and expertise in predictive analytics and modeling, data science, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning has been instrumental to the Department of the Navy’s efforts to drive innovation and streamline IT infrastructure.
