Richard Bangs heads up the USAF and USSF teams at Cloudera with a focus on Data Delivery and data lifecycle support from ETL to AI/ML and everything in between. With other 20 years of public sector experience, Richard has worked with the DOD and USAF to provide integrated SW, HW, and collaboration solutions. Prior to joining Cloudera, Richard held various positions at SAP leading the US Navy Classified Business Team and Special Project Teams. In addition to his experience at SAP, Richard also led the Storage and Availability DOD team at VMware for 3 years. Prior to SAP, Richard also spent 3 years at Adobe leading the eLearning and Collaboration team for the USAF including the Enterprise Defense Connect Online contract. Richard is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where he was a member of the men's basketball team. Richard lives in Washington, DC with his wife Jillian and their 3 boys.
