Deputy Director of Strategy for the Air Force Chief Data Office

LtCol Ronnie J. Synakowski is currently assigned as Deputy Director of Strategy for the Air Force Chief Data Office for the Secretary of the Air Force. His office is responsible for providing policy and infrastructure in support of advanced analytics, big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. LtCol Synakowski was commissioned in 2004 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. He started at the Air Force Research Laboratory assisting material growth research for new sensor materials. At the Electronic Systems Center he led the F-16 and F-22 mission planning projects on the ACAT ID acquisition program. While at the Air Force Technical Applications Center, he established the AFSO21 office and facilitated the Center’s Strategic Plan. He additionally led both the KC-135 and KC-10 sustainment programs to record programmed depot maintenance throughput and aircraft availability levels. LtCol Synakowski has served in a variety of roles in Acquisition, Congressional, Political Affairs, Process Improvement and supporting the Air Force’s Engine Room building the AF POM, as RDT&E Panel POC.
