Dr. Ronzelle Green

Ronzelle L. Green, Ph.D., is the Director of Research & Development (R&D) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He leads the R&D enterprise in exploring, proving, and delivering cutting edge GEOINT capabilities to users for operational impact.
Previously, Dr. Green served as the Chief Information Officer, Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency. He led the digital transformation to support the rapid growth of an agency of 900 to 12,000 employees. Prior to DCSA, Dr. Green was the Director, Commonwealth Integration, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security.
Prior to his joint duty assignments, Dr. Green served as the Director, International Solutions Office. He led the implementation of IT to enable a collaborative GEOINT relationship with 2nd and 3rd party international partners.
Throughout his career, Dr. Green held senior information technology, engineering, R&D, and operational roles within government, industry, and the military. Dr. Green is a U.S. Coast Guard (Reserve) Officer.
Dr. Green earned a B.S. from Oral Roberts University, M.S. from North Carolina State University, M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College, and Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University. Dr. Green is certified DAWIA Level III in Program Management and IT. Dr. Green is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps.
Dr. Green has been awarded the National Intelligence Award for Collaboration Leadership, DCSA Distinguished Service Award, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (5), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Commendation Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal, and other service medals and awards.
