Dr. Sarah Miller became the first Chief Scientist at ODNI's Augmenting Intelligence using Machines (AIM) Initiative earlier this year. Her background is in physics, machine learning, and data science, and she has implemented solutions in a wide variety of mission areas using methods like deep neural networks and large-scale graphs. She has contributed to government AI strategies, led adoption programs, and played a leadership role in establishing data science and AI standards and practices, including for responsible, ethical AI.
