Steve Hull is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Leidos. As CIO, he is responsible for establishing and executing the information technology (IT) strategy to promote business growth, provide data and system resiliency, foster business agility, and ensure operational readiness across the entire Leidos enterprise, while supporting the overarching IT vision and strategy and protecting corporate assets. He led the successful IT integration of the Leidos and Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) merger over a period of two years, completing many key initiatives ahead of plan. He collaborates with the Chief Technology Officer to develop and implement differentiating IT solutions that support both the Leidos business as well as its customers’ mission.

From January 2013 to August 2016 Hull served as the CIO of Lockheed Martin IS&GS ensuring operations and security of IT systems in support of over 20,000 employees. As a senior leader in the Lockheed Martin IT organization, Hull was the executive sponsor for multiple critical activities across the enterprise including data center, cloud, and enterprise networking.

Hull has over 27 years of experience in IT. He joined Lockheed Martin in 1997 as a technical lead for the internal IT division supporting their Global Training and Logistics business. He has had multiple positions supporting the corporate IT function as well as direct business. His roles have included Program Manager, Chief Technology Officer, and Executive Leader in support of multiple business missions.

He is a founding member of the Capital CIO Leadership Association (CapitalCIO) which is the preeminent professional association for national capital region chief information officers.

Hull is a graduate of the University of Central Florida earning a Bachelor’s of Science in computer science with a minor in physics and a Master of Business Administration degree. He has had many technical and business certifications including Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Project Management Institute, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
