Mr. Kalka is Deputy Director for the DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3)/DoD-Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Collaborative Information Sharing Environment (DCISE). In this role, he is responsible for cybersecurity threat information sharing, DIB engagement activities, and cybersecurity services for a public-private partnership of 940+ defense contractors. He leads a continual process improvement program, under which DCISE achieved and maintains a Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC) Level III certification. He drove improvements and innovations resulting increased event attendance and DIB Partner satisfaction.

Before joining DCISE, Mr. Kalka held a variety of IT/Cyber roles in the US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), culminating in an assignment as the Senior Cyber Professional Advisor to the Commanding General. He holds a Master of Science degree in Government Information Leadership from National Defense University, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Mr. Kalka lives in Maryland with one great wife, two great kids, and spends his limited spare time as an unprofessional musician.
