Mr. Stitely is a former member of the government’s Senior Executive Service where he served in various executive
positions, culminating as Director of Administrative Operations Service, Program Support Center of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Tim has extensive experience developing and managing multi-organizational programs in both the public and private sectors. Prior industry experience includes Senior Management Consultant with the Oracle Corporation, where he advised and influenced Fortune 200 companies on business and technology strategies. Prior to joining Oracle, Tim served in a variety of positions at HHS during a 19 year tenure including Chief Information Officer, Food and Drug Administration (FDA); Director of Office of Information Management, FDA; Director of Information Systems Design and Development, CMS; and Director of Information Technology, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institutes of Health.
As FDA CIO collaborated with CBP to help launch the Automated Commercial Environment/International Trade Data System (ACE/ITDS) as Food Safety heightened as a focal point of concern. During his tenure at CMS during the implementation of the Medicare Modernization Act, Tim led the development and implementation of CMS’ Enterprise Data Center, IDIQ saving the American Tax Payers over $200 Million annually through reducing the data center foot print from over 40 data centers to 3 data centers. As the Director of Administrative Operations at PSC HHS, Mr. Stitely was
responsible for launching the first Federal Government production workload in the AWS Cloud.
Mr. Stitely is a Bioinformatics PhD candidate at George Mason University. He received his Master of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland, University College.
