COL Todd Sabala commissioned as an infantry 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army, 1995. Follow on assignments include the 10th Mountain, cadre at the Mountain Phase of Ranger School, Company Commander in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and Special Police Transition Team member. COL Sabala was functional area designated to Functional Area 24; Telecommunications Systems Engineer in 2006. Assignments include NORAD-USNORTHCOM Engineering Branch lead, Network Engineer lead for the 93rd Signal Brigade, and a 3 year assignment at Army Cyber Command serving as Current Operations (G33) DODIN Operations lead and Defensive Cyber Operations lead. Currently serving at Headquarters, Department of the Army G 3/5/7 DAMO- Cyber, Mission Assurance Division Chief, with focus on cyber assessments of weapon systems and critical infrastructure.
