Spectrum Enterprise Becomes Subcontractor on CTI’s EIS Contract
Spectrum Enterprise has announced a partnership with Core Technologies Inc., a woman-owned small business, to resell communications services and solutions to government agencies.
As part of the agreement, Spectrum is now an authorized subcontractor on CTI's Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract for telecommunications and information technology services. CTI is among the nine subcontractors who were awarded spots on the General Services Administration's EIS contract vehicle in 2017.
“By partnering with Spectrum Enterprise, CTI can offer federal government agencies the reach and reliability of our wholly owned fiber network, robust technology solutions portfolio and differentiated client experience,” said Greg King, Spectrum Enterprise' vice president of product, marketing and strategy.
King said that Spectrum Enterprise' previous investments in the federal government market will serve as a strong foundation in aggressively growing in the business area.
Spectrum Enterprise and CTI have also entered into an agreement to participate in the Small Business Administration's Mentor-Protege Program, which qualifies joint ventures for some set-aside contracts for veteran-owned, women-owned and HUBZone businesses.
Under the program, Spectrum Enterprise will provide business development and marketing assistance. The company said it has already made an equity investment in CTI to help it bid for and fulfill EIS contracts.
“With our established partnership with Spectrum Enterprise and the strength of our combined teams, services and solutions portfolios, Core Technologies is even more competitively positioned to help government agencies modernize their IT infrastructure and improve service to the public," said CIT President Debbie Binette.
Spectrum Enterprise, a Charter Communications company, is a national provider of scalable, fiber technology solutions for large businesses and communications service providers.
