Subcontract award
System High to Support GDIT’s Air Force Security Support Services Work
General Dynamics Information Technology has selected System High to support work under a 10-year multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity security support services contract from the Department of the Air Force.
Rob Howe, System High president and CEO and a 4×24 member, said his company will design and deliver “disruptive, all-domain, lifecycle protection” to secure the Air Force’s critical missions and sensitive programs.
Implementing integrated security support services as a GDIT subcontractor will enable the Air Force to achieve its national security objectives, System High said.
In a press release, the company noted that its solutions are designed to “achieve and sustain secrecy, surprise, and superiority across space, ground, air, sea, and cyberspace domains.”
GDIT said that it won the first task orders under the Air Force Special Access Program Security Support Services contract in September. The award was made after ManTech withdrew its protest with the Government Accountability Office regarding the labor rates in GDIT’s proposal.
ManTech, Peraton and GDIT secured positions on the IDIQ in February 2021. However, ManTech’s protests delayed launching the contract as an active vehicle, according to Washington Technology.
