Technical and Management Assistance Corporation Now Part of ManTech International

ManTech International has closed its acquisition of Technical and Management Assistance Corp., a Columbia, Maryland-based company founded in 2008.

TMAC caters to the U.S. Intelligence Community with advanced data engineering services and solutions. It has experience in systems engineering, data collection and governance, analytics and mission management systems, ManTech International said Monday.

According to the TMAC website, the company now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of ManTech. Recent developments at TMAC include its accreditation as a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification registered provider organization.

Kevin Phillips, ManTech chairman, CEO and president, said in a statement that TMAC will enhance his company’s position as an analytics capabilities leader that collects and deciphers vast data flows across signal intelligence systems.

“Technical and Management Assistance Corporation builds on these strengths with complementary solutions that ensure the delivery of vital intelligence at speed,” added Phillips, a Potomac Officers Club member and 2021 Wash100 winner.

The acquisition comes after ManTech completed its $350 million all-cash purchase of Gryphon Technologies from AE Industrial Partners in early December. Washington, D.C.-based Gryphon Technologies specializes in model-based systems engineering, predictive analytics, data/computational science and cloud engineering solutions.

ManTech said the acquisition expands its capabilities in the defense sector with new customers and programs.
