Tetra Defense Reveals New Platform for CMMC Preparation
Tetra Defense has announced the development of the Beacon platform, a tool to help businesses prepare for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification requirements released by the Department of Defense.
According to the company, Beacon is a hybrid solution that combines the features and functions of a project management web application with the knowledge base and available expertise of the Tetra Cyber Risk Management team. Tetra Defense is now seeking participants to pilot the Beacon platform, the company said Thursday.
Users who will join the pilot program will be able to share feedback as part of the product development process.
Scott Holewinski, CEO of Tetra Defense, said Beacon is a web application full of explanations, recommendations, and clear to-do lists for defense contractors to understand what’s required so they can get to work." He added that the Tetra Defense team will assist users and guide them through the process.
Tetra Defense plans to make the first version of Beacon publicly available in April. The company said the program will include a clear, comprehensive explanation of the CMMC requirements, collaborative features for teams to work together and progress tracking, among others.
