US Air Force Awards $261M Advanced Technology Solutions Supply Contract to ManTech

The U.S. Air Force has awarded a $261 million, five-year contract to ManTech for the supply of various advanced technology solutions. According to ManTech’s press release on the award, the contract’s specific customers include the U.S. Air Force 53rd Wing Operations and 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing Technical Support Services the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center and the 668th Cyberspace Wing of the 16th Air Force.

ManTech’s deliverables under the contract include weapon systems engineering and integration, mission support center services, electronic warfare software programming, F-35 Partner Programming Lab support and other solutions to help boost U.S. air superiority.     

Among the contract’s work locations are the Air Force bases in Eglin and Tyndall in Florida, the southern Nevada Nellis AFB, the San Antonio, Texas, Lackland AFB and the northern Utah Hill AFB, ManTech said Wednesday.

David Hathaway, ManTech’s defense sector executive vice president and general manager and a 4×24 member, said the company’s solutions provide support on electronic warfare, military-grade cybersecurity, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. He added that ManTech’s offerings “will give Air Force pilots and crews a significant edge over opponents.” 

In August, ManTech also won a five-year, $622 million contract to supply systems integration and sustainment capabilities to the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command C5ISR Center.
