Three Companies Selected for NASA Civil Engineering Contract

AECOM Technical Services, Infrastructure Solution Service and Jones Edmunds & Associates are set to provide NASA architecture-engineer services for civil engineering infrastructure, equipment and facilities at different agency locations, primarily the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The contractors will perform work under the terms of the $150M Architect-Engineer Services for the Design and Other Professional Services Necessary to Rehabilitate, Modernize, and Develop New or Existing Civil Infrastructure and Facilities firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Under the terms of the contract, the awardees will deliver architectural-engineering services to NASA’s civil engineering projects throughout their entire life cycle, starting from the study and design phase through activation.

The contract covers a wide range of projects including geotechnical/foundations, facilities, utilities infrastructure, site planning, stormwater management, transportation engineering, solid waste management, coastal and intra-coastal waterway management and security systems.

Contract work is expected to be completed by Sept. 25, 2025.

The award builds on NASA’s recent engagements with industry partners. The agency previously awarded five aerospace companies contracts under the $6B Rapid Spacecraft Acquisition IV contract vehicle for spacecraft systems and related services. Selected companies include space and weather forecast company Ball Aerospace & Technologies, nonprofit applied research organization Southwest Research Institute and Maxar Technologies manufacturing subsidiary SSL.

NASA also recently selected ASRC Federal Data Solutions to provide capabilities and expertise for applied research, engineering, maintenance and operations initiatives in NASA facilities, including the Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California.
