Tsecond to Offer Portable, Multi-Platform Data Solutions to Government Users Through Carahsoft
San Jose, California-based data solutions company Tsecond has partnered with Carahsoft and its resellers for the government distribution of the company’s flagship BRYCK mobile data storage and analytics platform.
According to Sahil Chawla, Tsecond co-founder and CEO, BRYCK is the only technology available in the market for “extremely compact, dense and ruggedized storage in the petabyte range.” The platform and its DataDart data migration service support various uses, such as data capture and transport, flight data analytics and artificial intelligence model training, Carahsoft said.
The Tsecond solutions offer real-time, integrated data access to optimize resources and enhance data management and interoperability, Carahsoft added.
Launched in October 2021, BRYCK can gather, process, store and rapidly transport data of up to 1 petabyte from remote sources to a desired recipient. Weighing 14 pounds, the brick-sized tool can be carried in one hand but is hardy enough for use in harsh environments, Tsecond said.
In addition to Carahsoft’s resellers, government agencies can procure BRYCK through NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V and Information Technology Enterprise Solutions–Software 2 contracts.
Edward Walinsky, Carahsoft’s AI and machine learning solutions manager, described Tsecond’s BRYCK as a “unique and valuable data solution” that will bring “true innovation” to government agencies.
Tsecond is a startup established by the venture capital company AEI HorizonX, an investment platform partnership between AE Industrial and Boeing.
