Ultra I&C Earns Continuous Authority to Operate Designation
Ultra Intelligence & Communications has secured continuous authority to operate certification for its ADSI command and control gateway.
The milestone makes ADSI the first operational cloud-based C2 gateway to earn the designation, Ultra I&C said.
The tactical solutions provider said achieving cATO allows for rapid deployment of ADSI, which is already being used by the U.S. joint forces and other coalition partners, and its upgrades onto classified networks.
Additionally, developers can now more efficiently push validated code into production, resulting in faster feature delivery and reduced costs. Ultra I&C said the designation also addresses interoperability challenges among various data links.
Bradford Powell, president of Ultra I&C’s command, control, intelligence and encryption division and a 4×24 member, said the milestone advances the vision of the Combined Joint All-Domain Command by enabling fast and efficient deployment of new CBC2 mission modules.
The designation comes after Ultra I&C secured a $39 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corps to sustain and modernize the Common Aviation Command and Control System virtual air defense system integrator.
In June, Ultra I&C announced that it joined the Federated Mission Networking Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation, an initiative focused on helping the Marine Corps modernize its CJADC2 capabilities.
