Ultra I&C Joins Marine Corps’ CJADC2 Modernization Initiative
Ultra Intelligence & Communications is the latest vendor to join the Federated Mission Networking Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation, an effort focused on evaluating new network capabilities that would modernize the U.S. Marine Corps’ contribution to the Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control.
Ultra I&C Command, Control and Intelligence President Bradford Powell, a 4×24 member, said that the company’s ADSI product will enable integration of legacy datalinks with modern internet protocol networks and the latest emerging systems to provide all participants access to the full spectrum of capabilities.
ADSI enables universal Tactical Data Link interoperability between the United States and its allies, allowing seamless integration across joint services, agencies and coalition partners, Ultra I&C said.
The announcement comes after the company introduced its Archer family of troposcatter communication systems for the defense sector. Ultra I&C has proven the solution’s capability to maintain a communications link beyond 185 kilometers, allowing the U.S. Army to have a resilient layer of secure communications.
