USDA Lists 37 Recipients of STRATUS Cloud Pool 2 Basic Ordering Agreements

The Department of Agriculture has selected 37 organizations to receive basic ordering agreements under the Stratus Cloud Pool 2 arrangement.

In the special notice posted on Friday, the USDA issued BOAs to unrestricted companies, including Accenture Federal Services, General Dynamics Information Technology and Leidos. For companies classified under the restricted group, Accelera Solutions, MetaPhase Consulting and TechTrend were among the BOA recipients.

Under the Stratus Pool 2 basic ordering agreement, the selected contractors will provide cloud integration and development support services, according to the notice posted on SAM .gov.

The department said the use of BOAs aims to reduce costs and paperwork, streamlining the search for sources capable of providing the agency’s cloud service needs.

The Stratus Cloud BOA was first introduced in April 2023, allowing the department to focus more on deploying and sustaining applications. It aims to augment gaps left by the Digital Infrastructure Service Center, allowing for lower costs and updated information technology systems.
