Veterans Affairs Partners With ECS to Deliver Support Services for Critical IT Systems

The Department of Veterans Affairs has tapped technology, science and engineering solutions provider  ECS to help maintain critical information technology systems.

On Monday, the company announced that it received a $60.7 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from VA’s Office of Information and Technology to provide a wide range of IT services, including but not limited to technical support, strategy planning and operations and maintenance.

The contract was awarded through the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation 2 vehicle, which aims to help modernize the department’s IT and engineering services, ECS said.

According to ECS President John Heneghan, a 4×24 member and 2023 Wash100 winner, with a high number of veteran employees, the company is excited to partner with the VA to deliver high-quality health care to every veteran.

The VA contract comes just weeks after ECS was selected in early November to lead the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s $1.25 billion Technical and Analytical Support Services initiative, where as prime, it will provide advisory and assistance services to support the agency’s mission.
