Vertosoft to Distribute Zimperium’s Mobile Security Offerings

Vertosoft, an information technology company, has partnered with mobile security provider Zimperium in a bid to distribute premier anti-mobile threat solutions.

Under their agreement, Zimperium will rely on Vertosoft to provide public-sector distribution, sales, marketing and order management support.

“Vertosoft will be a key extension of our sales team to help expand the Zimperium platform within the public sector. We look forward to working with Vertosoft to provide our industry-leading mobile threat defense platform to the government,” said Jim Kovach Zimperium's vice president for public-sector affairs.

The Zimperium platform is now available for public sector agencies through Vertosoft's list of contract vehicles and reseller partners, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.

Zimperium offers zIPS, an on-device mobile protection tool for mobile devices information. It has been authorized under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for use by government customers.

“Government agencies who only rely on mobile device management solutions are not fully protected," Vertosoft President Jay Colavita said.

Zimperium also offers the Mobile Application Protection Suite, which was designed to address security and privacy concerns during the software development life cycle phase of apps.

Vertosoft is a privately held information technology and services provider based in Leesburg, Virginia. It specializes in providing deal support, business development support, contract management and lead generation for budding IT companies.

Zimperium is a network and security company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It specializes in vulnerability research and exploitation, machine learning, mobile threat defense, mobile risk management, mobile device management, mobile intrusion detection and mobile threat detection.
