KBR Lands $61M Navy Contract for Cybersecurity Services

KBR has secured a $60.7 million task order to provide cybersecurity support to the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic. The contract, with a potential four-year value of $245.6 million, will support the Defense Health Agency’s cybersecurity and risk management framework initiatives, KBR said.

KBR will provide comprehensive cybersecurity and information assurance services for DHA within and outside the continental United States, including assessment and authorization execution, cyber tool development, security control assessments and cybersecurity sustainment support.

According to KBR, its suite of cyber tools will play a significant role in ensuring compliance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Risk Management Framework, enabling rigorous testing and validation to ensure its customer systems meet federal standards for robustness and security.

Byron Bright, president of KBR Government Solutions U.S., a 4×24 member and a 2024 Wash100 winner, stressed the critical nature of the work for the security of DHA’s infrastructure and the broader Military Health System.
