Director, Supply Chain Management

Stu Jones oversees development and delivery of end-to-end solutions that enhance supply chain resiliency and mitigate risk for LMI’s customers. His team of 120 logisticians and supply chain experts serve a diverse range of federal organizations, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), U.S. Postal Service, and U.S. Border Patrol. Stu joined LMI in 2010 from DLA, where he served as executive officer to the director. In this role, he ran the daily operations of DLA’s 20,000-plus global workforce. He coordinated multifunctional activities spanning customer operations and readiness, logistics and supply, acquisition, energy, and information technology. Stu is a retired Navy Supply Corps officer. Assignments during his career included tours at the Naval Supply Systems Command, Naval Inventory Control Point, Naval Air Forces Atlantic Fleet, and Naval Sea Systems Command. He served at sea as supply officer on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), commissioning supply officer of the USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53), and assistant supply officer of the USS Valley Forge (CG-50). Stu holds a bachelor’s in political science from George Washington University, a master’s in business administration from the University of Florida, and a master’s in strategic studies from the Army War College.
